Black and White Prints
Black and white art is classic, timeless, and beautiful. Many artists have found ways to produce framed black and white masterpieces that have no chance of ever going out of style. When a work is done in black and white it allows the art lover to focus on the details rather than being lost in the colors.
A lot of history has been captured on black and white film and has now been turned into framed black and white art for all to enjoy. Some great examples are “First Tour de France 1903”, “USS Los Angeles Airship Over Manhattan”, or “The JFK Motorcade in Dallas, TX”. These are all moments that can now be remembered forever in history.
The ocean is beautiful in color and photographers have proven that it can be just as beautiful in framed black and white photos. “The Lord Reigns” by Dennis Frates is a wonderous black and white photo of the ocean waves crashing against the rocks and throwing its spray into the air. Ansel Adams took the photo “The Scripps Pier” in 1966 and it has stood strong as a favorite through the years.
Chris Paschke did a twist on traditional black and white and sketched his piece “Girlfriends, and Then She Said” in white on a black background. This is a very popular look amongst the lovers of modern artwork. Quotes and poems are lovely works of art in the form of words and when those words or set to art they seem to take on an even stronger meaning to the reader and many artists have capitalized on this idea in the category of black and white art.
