Most Bill Abbott’s viewers confess that they love his humor. Whether ironic, exaggerated, wisecracking, or just plain sarcastic, all of it makes his viewers laugh. Abbott spent more than 20 very rewarding years in the Navy before he started pursuing his lifelong passion for cartooning. His work has appeared on greeting cards, in numerous magazines, calendars, cocktail napkins, books and a host of other products. Some of Abbott's Licensed/Published credits include Army Times, Saturday Evening Post, Wall Street Journal, Reader's Digest, Harvard Business Review, American Legion Magazine, Barron's, Long Island Business Journal, Medical Economics, Hallmark UK, Illinois Business Journal, American Greetings, Westland Giftware, Pictura USA, Renaissance, and Marian Heath, just to mention a few. Abbott been cartooning and drawing for as long as he can remember. He’s lucky to be working with illustration agents Alexander Pollard in the US, and with licensing agents Adam Meiklejohn of MGL Licensing in the UK and Europe and extraordinaire Grahame Allan in Australia. Together with the licensing agents and the illustration agents, they have introduced his characters to manufacturers of greeting cocktail napkins, calendars cards, figurines, mugs, and a bunch of other stuff. Apart from licensing, his work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal magazines like Harvard Business Review, Reader’s Digest, Medical Economics and American Legion Magazine, in newspapers like the Malibu News, and is available for publishing through Cartoonstock in the United Kingdom.
