Framed Orange Artwork
The color orange is one that almost always brings a feeling of happiness, tranquility, and peace. That is because most people associate the color orange with the juicy, sweet fruit, a relaxing sunset, or perhaps their favorite spring plant. All of these ideas encapsulate contentment. It is no wonder an artist would want to paint this versatile color! Framed orange art can bring brightness to any room.
Ever wonder what an orange looks like in red, aqua, lime or purple? The artist Veruca Salt has come to your rescue. This artist has taken the idea of a basic orange slice, and added a little bit of flair to it. In addition to changing the look of the fruit that is named after its color, she has focused in on the miniscule details, like the inner grooves and slivers that a person enjoying an orange may overlook. Similarly, Tenisha Proctor has taken a similar idea but applied it to a lemon slice with the quote, “Be Sour.” Both of these artists provide a surprising image by painting an orange or fruit in a different light.
An artist who took a different route to paint the orange is A. Risso. Rather than painting the orange in a bold color, Risso has painted the outside of the orange a more subtle brown color. Also, the orange is still attached to the tree. By painting it in a different color, it allows the viewer to really stop and ponder the subject matter of the painting. It also reminds the viewer where the fruit originates.
If you are looking for a bright, tropical look, Ian Tremewen’s paintings of oranges might be for you. Tremewen has painted the fruit over a bright, blue print. Another artist who provides a cheerful attitude is Inna Panasenko. This artist delivers very little color other than orange colored Framed orange artwork. In fact, the only other color is a little bit of brown for the tiny seeds and the green leaves that remain attached to the oranges. This allows for a very bright picture!
