Framed Dandelion Art
Many people think of dandelions as weeds but, artist have found a way to change that point of view. Framed dandelion art has become more popular in the decorating industry because of the innovative ways that artist present them on canvas and through film.
Claire Davies uses computer art to make something others consider a weed into a total work of art. The black background with the lemon colored flower with highlights of green bring great life to a room. Stella Bradley takes the superstition of blowing the dandelion seeds and makes it into a great piece of framed dandelion artwork with her piece simply titled “Wish”.
There are some things that you would never expect to see in the same place but, Maureen McCarthy goes out on that limb bringing dandelions and violets together. This piece of art has a lot of sharp colors and great detail. Jennifer Goldberger uses warmth in her painting to create framed dandelion pictures that are calming and soothing to art lovers.
For a complete twist on dandelion art people often turn to Kate Endle for more color and a hint of childish fun. A great example is “Little Red Dandelion” a picture that centers a little girl in a red suit on a green background with dandelion seeds floating in the air. Full blooming yellow dandelions are great in a field but, the white fluffiness of the dandelion seeds are just as lovely. Jim Christensen and Maja Hrnjak use photography to show art lovers how beautiful the seeds of dandelions are.
