Framed Kangaroo Artwork
Kangaroos are the ubiquitous animals of Australia. They are very tall, eat plants, and famously hop on two legs. In fact they are so ubiquitous that they have road signs devoted to their crossing, and many pieces of framed kangaroo art are made of them.
They are such a famous animal, that seemingly everyone around the world knows about them!
One such framed kangaroo photograph is the picture of a sign entitled “Kangaroo Sign on a Road with a Rock Formation in the Background, Ayers Rock.” It is very simple: The focal point is of a Kangaroo Crossing sign. Behind that is an enormous mesa, Ayers Rock. It appears to have been taken at dusk, making the clear sky a darker blue, enveloping the viewer. It feels peaceful, exotic, and it looks like it has been taken during a nice drive in the main street in the Down Under.
A humorous stylized representation of kangaroos in a framed kangaroo cartoon is of “Wanna Be a Wallabe” by Ciela Bloom. It is an active, vibrant artwork, which uses many colours and textures, in particular a flower texture on the jackrabbit that wants to be a wallabe, while the wallabe itself has a green top and flowered hind legs so it looks like it's wearing clothing. To unify it there is a flower border around the artwork.
“Woodblock of Kangaroos” by Benjamin Bay is a framed woodblock painting of kangaroos which shows a mother and joey against the hot Australian sun. The heat is suggested by the intense yellow-and-orange colour, as well as the black halos in the sky. The kangaroo mother and joey are a saturated red. She appears to be very tired, as though she has been finding food all day and needs a place to rest.
