Duck Framed Art
The word duck has its origin in old English language and it means “to get under something or to dive”. The name duck has a broader meaning as it represents many species that have similar form as ducks.
Ducks are birds with a long neck, round shaped body, strong, scaly legs and webbed feet. All of these attributes makes them really good swimmers. Ducks have many colors and the colors are the result of their environment or gender. These feathery animals live either in nature or as domestic animals.
In nature, ducks can usually be found at a pond or a lake. They are used to water because of their waterproof feathers and also because they can see underwater. They feed themselves with fish, water plants and insects that live in the nearby vicinity of water. Another advantage of their body is that they do not feel cold, so they can swim even in icy water.
Ducks usually live in groups that are called rafts or teams. When flying, ducks make a “V” formation which helps them to fly more easily. There are some species of ducks that can fly more than 300 miles per day. Some species of ducks are kept in households as pets or for the purpose of personal use of meat, eggs, and feathers.
Ducks produce sounds in the form of quacks. Most commonly known duck is a wild duck which lives on every continent. These birds are very interesting because of their behavior and appearance. If you want to have an amazing bird decoration in your home, a framed duck art poster is the best choice for your living space.
