Framed Philadelphia 76ers Posters
It’s been six decades since the Philadelphia 76ers won the last championship, quite a while for one of the best franchises in NBA history. Founded in 1946 and initially known as the Syracuse Nationals, they won the first title in 1955, before replicating that performance 12 years later.
FramedArt.com has framed Philadelphia 76ers posters featuring both their achievements and also their most recent title, the memorable 1983 victory over the Boston Celtics. They were credited with tiny chances to win the finals, but they played with enthusiasm and prevailed by winning the last match in Boston.
The professional basketball franchise has survived the first decade, which is quite an achievement given the fact that most clubs were dissolved. Over the course of time, they had plenty of great players in their organization, with framed Philadelphia 76ers posters featuring them. The likes of Julius Irving, Charles Barkley, Wilt Chamberlain, Moses Malone and Allen Iverson are just a few that made history in Philadelphia and were eventually inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Recent history is not particularly impressive and the only framed Philadelphia 76ers posters celebrating victory in a late stage of the playoffs, focus on the 2001 season. Iverson worked his magic on the basketball court but he couldn’t single-handedly defeat the Los Angeles Lakers and the team was defeated despite the fact that it won the first match. Unfortunately, the 76ers are also the ones who set a less desirable record, by losing 26 games in a row.
