Framed Colorado Avalanche Art
The Colorado Avalanche began their adventure in 1972, but went by the name of Back Nordiques until 1995 when the name was changed. They are playing their home games at Pepsi Center and are force to be reckoned with when having home ice advantage, with most framed Colorado Avalanche posters focusing on these games.
FramedArt.com also covers the matches played on the road, with Colorado having the reputation of scoring plenty of goals regardless of venue.
Before changing its name in 1995, the franchise was not particularly successful, but that also changed their fortune. Since then, they won nine divisions, two conferences and two Stanley Cups, being one of the few franchises to have an 100% effectiveness in the championship series. Framed Colorado Avalanche posters focus on both these victories, but the most memorable one is the 1995 sweep of the Florida Panthers. They had to fight for each game six years later, when they took on the New Jersey Devils, but they didn’t falter and eventually prevailed in seven games.
Framed Colorado Avalanche posters also evoke their eight consecutive division titles, the longest streak of any active or defunct NHL franchises. They also managed to qualify for postseason in 10 years in a row, until they finally failed to replicate that performance in 2007. Patrick Roy, Jose Theodore and Marek Svatos are a couple of key players that played for the Avalanche and made a significant contribution to their victories in Stanley Cup finals.
