Framed Anaheim Ducks Art
When the Anaheim Mighty Ducks were founded two decades ago, there were many who thought that hockey will never appeal to people of California. The abundance of framed Anaheim Ducks posters available at FramedArt.com show the contrary and the franchise proved to be extremely successful.
It was founded by the Walt Disney Company, hence the name but it was sold 12 years later and the name “Mighty” was dropped.
In its relatively short existence, the franchise made the playoffs on 10 occasions and won the Western Conference twice. The last time they did it happened in 2006 when they also won the first and so far only Stanley Cup, while fielding one of the best starting formation in recent hockey history. Framed Anaheim Ducks posters feature these veteran players, most of them retired, who propelled the team to a convincing victory over the Ottawa Senators. That was the last time a Canadian team came painfully close of winning the Stanley Cup, 13 years after the Montreal Canadiens did it.
The Ducks played all their home game and Honda Center and the arena is always full of enthusiastic fans, especially when they take on local rivals. The Los Angeles Kings have been more effective at winning trophies over the last decade, prevailing twice in the last three years. The team began a reconstruction period and new faces have joined the veterans, with framed Anaheim Ducks posters featuring both the newcomers and legends such as Teemu Selanne, Scott and Rob Niedermayer.
