Framed Pagoda Artwork
A vacation in East Asia is the perfect opportunity to discover ancient cultures and civilizations, as well as truly unique architectural styles. Pagodas can be found in virtually all these countries in this part of the world, ranging from India, China and Nepal to Japan, Vietnam and Burma. Many of them are used by Taoists as places of worship, with Buddhists also using them for religious activities. The tiered tower has multiple purposes and the structures are more or less the same, with slight differences existing depending on their location. The modern versions of pagodas were inspired by the Ancient Nepal stupa, which used to serve the purpose of accommodating sacred relics.
