Framed Buddhist Art

Framed Buddhist Art focuses mostly on the central character of the religion, which used to go by the name of Siddhartha Gautama, prior to his enlightenment. After meditating for 49 straight days he was elevated and awoken, with this key moment being when Buddha was actually born. For his followers, he was a gifted teacher, capable of showing them the true path, while providing the means to overcome temptation and all the obstacles barring the way to enlightenment.

Compared to most religions, Buddhism is one of the most peaceful and followers are supposed to do everything they can to help all sentient beings and put an end to suffering. Some of the Framed Buddhist Art promote a message exclusively through powerful images, but some posters also made good use of messages. In most cases, the names chosen for the paintings by their author speak for themselves and they are in complete accord with the message conveyed by the images of meditating monks or ancient statues.
