New Orleans is a large port city in the USA, located in the state of Louisiana. This city is famous for its food, jazz music, large number of festivals that happen every year and is often seen as the most unique city in the USA.
The city was influenced by European culture in the past, as it was under the French rule, and its name came from the Duke of Orleans who was the city’s regent. Some of the images that greatly illustrate that are “Portrait of Orleans” from 1950, “New Orleans Streets” and “New Orleans – Do It”. Many framed New Orleans paintings art posters are showing that the city was an inspiration for many painters in the past and present, because of its vivid and interesting life that the people are living there.
There are many interesting locations in New Orleans that carry a lot of culture and beauty with them. Jackson Square and Bourbon Street are some of them as they have the spirit of this historic city engraved in their beautiful structures. One of the historic structures is the famous Café Du Monde that is located in the French Quarter and was established in 1862.
