Framed Atlanta Art

The city has a rich history as Atlanta was founded back in 1837 and due to its location grew at an accelerated pace until the Civil War. Many of the buildings that appear in Framed Atlanta Art were built in the second half of the 20th century, although structures older than 100 years are still standing. The eclectic mix of old neighborhoods and modern ones built in anticipation of the 1996 Olympics is celebrated in artwork.

Outside the city outskirts, Framed Atlanta Art focuses mostly on the rolling hills that are covered by thick forests. There is no shortage of outdoor attractions and those who venture to the Piedmont Park usually stop to take pictures in the Atlanta Botanical Garden. It is famous for its biodiversity as well as the long skywalk, with people touring the urban forest high above ground level. Among the landmarks that attract the vast majority of tourists coming to Atlanta, the bridge across the Savannah River and the Civil War Museum rank at the top of the list.
