Framed Tango Artwork
Tango is a dance that was created in a place that is located on a border of Argentina and Uruguay. The meaning of the word tango is drum or dance place. Tango is danced with a partner, and there are many different types of tango today. These different types of tango have influenced European and African culture.
Tango is proclaimed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of the world and it was made popular in many countries very quickly. In the beginning of 20th century, dancers and musicians were traveling from Buenos Aires to Europe, and the first place where people adopted tango, and wanted more, was the brilliant city of Paris. Later, all the other European capitals wanted tango and after a while, it spread to the USA. Framed tango dance art is really showing the strong emotion that this partner dance carries with itself throughout time.
Tango, in its early days, could be separated to “North American tango”, that is fast, and to “Tango Argentina”, the slower version of this dance. Later, tango evolved into many different styles, each characteristic for certain settings.
The best image representations of tango are illustrating a man and a woman dancing together in different locations with a lot of passion. If you love to see or feel the emotion that a great tango dance radiates when being performed, then getting a framed tango art print is a great wall decoration choice for you.
