Humphrey Bogart was the one that founded the famous Rat Pack in the 60s, but even though the group was centered on him, it didn’t include the celebrated actor. FramedArt.com has black and white Framed Rat Pack Posters for those who fondly remember the members of this exclusive group.
Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior and Peter Lawford featured together in these images, capturing their performances on stage and in movies.
The Framed Rat Pack Posters focus on the best films in which the members played together and Ocean’s 11, Robin and the 7 Hoods as well as Sergeants 3 are shining examples. The images feature all the aforesaid actors and singers, but the group was actually centered on Davis, Martin and Sinatra. After all these decades, it is still not 100% sure where the name came from, with several theories in circulation, revolving around the regular hangouts of the members and even Lauren Bacall’s comments.
In addition to the core members of the Rat Pack, there were visiting ones such as Mickey Rooney, Cesar Romero, Errol Flynn and Nat King Cole. Finding Framed Rat Pack Posters featuring these actors next to the regulars won’t be a problem and most of these images are regarded as classic. There were two versions of the group, one being characteristic for the 60s and a different one emerging at the beginning of the next decade.
