Framed Volcano Artwork
Volcanoes are one of nature’s largest wonders. They are a symbol of tectonic forces that are constantly at work under the ground that our homes, businesses, and ways of life are built on. These scorching mountains leave behind a trail of disaster and heartache as many lives are constantly lost during these natural disasters.
To capture a volcano during an eruption is truly a feat. When it is captured, it makes for amazing framed volcano photography. Most of the photographs taken of erupting volcanoes are taken either, overhead or on the ground at a distance. Helicopters hover over volcano sites, but they still must maintain their distance. Getting close can still be extremely hot and cause the helicopter to melt.
Another popular framed volcano photo style is by satellite. Every day, our eyes in the skies capture the weather down here on earth. Many satellites have captured volcanic eruptions that make for intrigues images. All of the volcanoes around the world can be found wrapped around the coast of the Pacific Ocean. This is also known as the Ring of Fire.
Corey Ford takes a more dramatic approach in his framed volcano art. His images are large and have massive clouds that billow from the tops. They are filled with geometric shapes that form the volcanic mountains in his framed volcano pieces. Katsushika Hokusai has an opposite view with his two dimensional illustrations of volcanoes. His images have more of a cartoon and simplistic style. This artwork is basic, but gets straight to the point.
