Framed Tron Art
Directed and written by Stephen Lisberger, Tron is a science fiction movie released in 1982 and starring Jeff Bridges. The story imagined by Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird is intriguing and Walt Disney productions extracted an astonishing amount from it.
FramedArt.com keeps the memory alive with its collection of Framed Tron Posters featuring both the actors starring in the original movie and the sequel of 2010. The original version was initially intended as an animated film but the end result was an interesting mix of live action and computer animation.
It took six years for Tron to be developed but the wait was worthwhile, because the critics and fans praised the visual effects and stellar acting. The only criticism drawn by the movie was in regard to the twisted storyline, that many found hard to follow and even slightly incoherent. Framed Tron Posters focus on the visuals and both the ones dedicated to the original movie and the recent remake are mesmerizing. David Warner, Barnard Hughes, Cindy Morgan and Bruce Boxleitner’s performances in supporting roles are also celebrated in artwork.
Tron received several nominations for the Oscars but only won the AcademyA 14 years later, while developing a cult following. Since the release of the first movie an entire franchise emerged, including video games, animated TV series and comic books. The 2010 movie was also produced by Lisberger, while the Framed Tron Posters dedicated to this installment feature Bridges and Boxleitner who reprise their roles.
