Framed Laurel and Hardy Wall Art
Quality humor transcends time and the best proof is that the Laurel and Hardy shows are still enjoyable many decades after they were produced.
The short movies can be enjoyed in black and white, but FramedArt.com also has colorful Framed Laurel and Hardy Posters dedicated to the amusing duo. Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy shook hands in the late 20s and acted together for more than two decades, being some of the funniest comedians of their generation.
Before acting together in the Laurel and Hardy shows, both of them had lucrative film careers and featured in dozens of films. The first project together was Putting Pants on Philip, a silent short movie produced in 1927 which is brought back to life by Framed Laurel and Hardy Posters. The success of this initial movie was so great that the two actors worked together until the late 40s when they retired.
Throughout their career, Laurel and Hardy featured in 107 films and a third of them were silent movies, with the best scenes enjoying ample coverage in Framed Laurel and Hardy Posters. The iconic duo is easily recognizable after all these years and they are frequently voted as some of the best comedy acts of all times. The art prints tell much of the story, but the duo was also famous for its signature tone, which is commonly referred to as the Dance of the Cuckoos. They heard the song on radio and adopted it, but most of the music used in their films was actually produced by Leroy Shield.
