Wayne Bradbury was born in rural New South Wales. He has not been a photographer for so long but his photographs are like those of professionals who have been into this business for several decades. Bradbury began taking landscape photographs about six years ago. He learnt to take photographs on his own relying on the information he obtained from the internet and from magazines and books. He had a steep learning curve and within a very short time, he progressed from his point-and-shoot camera to a more complicated digital SLR. Bradbury soon realized that panoramic photography lends itself particularly well to the Australian landscape, so his next logical progression was a 6x17cm panoramic film camera, which is now his preferred tool. Apart from spending time with her two young daughters and his wife, he loves nothing more than throwing his tent in the back of his 4WD Ute and heading out in search of that magic shot that’s always elusive. Wayne has won many 1st prizes in photography and art shows around Victoria over the last few years. He has also staged some regional exhibitions that have been very successful. Wayne had one of his photos published on the cover of the prestigious Australian Photography Magazine. To increase the collectability of his art, he avails them in a variety of finishing options including framed Wayne Bradbury art. To ensure that he gets only high quality photos, Bradbury can wait for hours and hours for the right lighting conditions to come along, and if they fail to come, he’ll leave without taking a shot, preferring to return another day.
