Tracy Lynn Pristas was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. She now lives in Littleton, Colorado, and has been liberated from having to wear noise-reduction headphones while she’s painting. She works in multiple motifs and a number of styles. Tracy has exhibited in Western Spirit Cheyenne, Wyoming, CA, Fine Line Designs Sister Bay, Filsinger Gallery Palm Desert, Artwork Network Gallery Denver, and Palm Desert, to name just a few. His art has been published in Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Magazine, Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Professional Art Magazine, The Denver Post, Atlanta Style & Design, and more. She has successfully completed about 27 commissions. Many of her oil paintings have been commissioned and are included in private collections nationally. Tracy is represented by numerous fine art galleries nationally. She paints large-scale oil and cold wax abstracts, abstract landscapes, encaustics and monotypes, and mixed-media acrylics. She was awarded 5 community arts grants early on in her career. This was from the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs. Her paintings can be seen in many healthcare settings, including collections at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Central DuPage Hospital, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, University of Montana Law School, Lutheran General Hospital, Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, Mayo Clinic, Swedish Covenant Hospital, and Montana State University, Gaines Hall.
