After teaching for 10 years as a show dealer in antiques, Kuehnle first formed the G.B. Kuehnle Company in 1982. This company specialized in placing exceptional objects in the most appropriate international, national and even regional markets. In 1986 a fine artist specialist called Eric Lund joined the firm. The two worked together until they attained Senior Appraiser status with specialties in Fine Arts and Antiques and Decorative Arts. They also developed an extensive network to broker properties that made them to reach larger markets. In 2000, they realized that they needed to expand their business as the number of clients was increasing; that’s how The Chelsea Collection was born. And in response to market interest they moved to a larger space in 2008. Framed Chelsea Collection art can today be found in almost all corners of the world.
