Solveiga is an artist who was born in Latvia. He says that the Joy and pleasure that his work brings to viewers and clients are very important to him adding that it is the genuine source of inspiration and the most important guideline. Solveiga spent a fabulous childhood in Riga in the Creative and Artistic environment of Post Soviet, after which he left for Finland to study at the University of Art and Design of Helsinki in 1992. He likes the Figurative expression and concreteness and liberty of the Abstract art. When the emotions and colors are taking over, he faces unrestricted richness of imagination. The artist only suggests the content... And a client, depending on their sensibility and mood of the moment perceives something different and unique. He says that abstraction is a barometer of our emotions and beautiful mirror of our subjectivity. In 1997, Solveiga’s passion for travel took him further and he decided to go to France where he completed his Master's degree in Fashion Design from the French Fashion Institute in Paris at IFM. He fell in love with the city and forgot to move on, and decided to settle down, and founded family - he still lives in France to date. As he travels, he records all his experiences and emotions in his sketches, photos and notes. And once he’s back at home, he starts painting. He loves to paint Urban Landscapes of Hong Kong and New York. Framed Solveiga art are owned by many esteemed clients including celebs.
