Loren Soderberg Art

Loren Soderberg was born and raised up in a rural community of Oregon. He focuses on the tranquility and grandeur of the Oregon and California Wilderness. He has a keen sensitivity toward the beauty of nature. Soderberg tends to look for new and inventive ways to present his work. He has been a tremendous source of inspiration to many photographers. Soderberg’s art work reflect a balance of technical and emotion skill, and his pictures have been described as unique and painterly in presentation and color. Soderberg has been a resident of Marin County since 1968. Most recently, he has been photographing Marshall and the east side of Tomales Bay. He has lived in Novato for six years and loves the wine country and the quick commute to Point Reyes where he visits to take photos every week. Soderberg has maintained his studio at the ICB in Sausalito since 1986 and is planning to publish a book soon. He is never satisfied with the act of simply recording information with the camera but is always looking at different methods of creating and presenting images so that the final products are truly unique.
