Leslie Saeta paints colorful and fresh paintings using only a palette knife. She’s an award winning artist who paints in her studio full time. She has more than 3 decades of marketing experience. Apart from painting by herself, Leslie is devoted to helping other artists sell their art; she does this especially on-line. Leslie hosts a weekly talk radio show which is a great resource tool for all artists. The show which is titled “Artists Helping Artists” is currently listened to by more than 5000 artists per week. For several years she painted with a palette knife using oils but recently, she started painting abstracts using acrylics. She has always been interested in art but entered officially the fine art world as a novice painter in her mid-40s. Leslie’s art may appear to include brisk brushwork, but the arts paints exclusively with a palette knife and applies a thick build-up of paint. She’s crazy about color and her favorite part of painting abstracts is deciding on the color palette. Her paintings are inspired by the colors found at the beaches in California, Ventura, and at South Pasadena where her home is. She works with a limited palette and strives to create beautiful colors and to capture the light perfectly in every painting. She’s a wife and mother of 3 teenage boys. She’s a member of California Art Club, Oil Painters of America, American Women Artists, Pasadena Society of Artists, San Gabriel Fine Art Club, Women Painters of the West, and Verdugo Hills Art Club.
