Susan Sabo specializes in animal and environmental portraits, but also shoots whatever catches her attention. A portion of all her sales goes to various rescue associations, some big and known, like HSUS, and small and independent, like her local shelter. She supports rescues through cash donations. She also volunteers her time and services, as well as donations of prints and/or sessions for fundraisers. All her prints available online are available in color and also in black-and-white, as also as framed Susan Sabo art. She creates unusual portraits for unusual beings. Susan is a big fan of community. She makes her artwork available to non-profit fundraisers free of charge; for those who have events coming up and would like to auction some of her work, she encourages them not to hesitate to let her know how she can assist. She just moved to Kalamazoo from Southern California, but she never left her style behind. She donates her time and art to many non-profits, and has started to photograph shelter dogs for a rescue group. Dogs and babies are his specialty; she loves them individually, but when put them together, the she feels more elated. Rescue work is close to her heart and she offers session discounts for those with shelter / rescued animals and also terminally ill or senior animals. Her clients like portraits that show who they actually are, not just portraits of what they look like. She also shoots small weddings and has managed to serve so many clients along this line.
