American photographer John Roy has a liking for old things. He was inspired by his lifetime dedication to vintage cars and Blues Music, and so he began taking photographs in search of abandoned America. Roy loved art since his childhood and his dream was that one day he would become a professional artist. He was inspired by all leading artist of the past and those of his time. Settling on photography, he spent 7 years taking thousands of photographs of motels, gas stations, salvage yards, farm houses; all manner of vehicles and also of the amazing American scenery. Roy decided to make his own way on his art education, so he’s always updating himself with whatever is related to art, and with everything that comes day by day. He has a large respect and appreciation for any form of creativeness. And being a disciplined and prolific photographer, he takes into consideration all the little details that other artist can easily overlook. He uses photographs to create three dimensional montages. Roy, in fact, is the archetypal master of color, scene, and light. He’s highly sought after and is often willing to take up even complicated projects that other artists can shy away from. Through his skillful photography and drawing from his life experiences and from his travels, he produces images where the viewers feel they have truly become one with the subject.
