She revealed, “I delayed focusing on painting in order to work and raise my family. Once I had the time, I felt a sense of obligation to turn my attention to art.” She retired after 30 years of teaching. A holder of a fine art degree from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Arts, Carol’s artistic style focused on color relationships, sense of energy, and presence of light. She was greatly inspired by her surroundings, especially her home and flower gardens. Her artistic works are a clear reflection of her source of inspiration. Carol’s pieces of art also reveal an unmatched mastery of her artistic style. Her artistic works have earned her many artistic awards. She is featured in various collections including Johnson Controls, Miller Brewing, Northwestern Mutual Life, among other prestigious corporations.
