Roeselien Raimond is a photographer and author who was born and raised in the Netherlands. She currently works and lives in one of the most crowded parts of the Netherlands. Roeselien is a self-trained designer and she began her career as an art therapist. Her work involved joining her creative skills with psychological schooling and talents to help people in dealing with their problems, more so the young children who were suffering from mental problems. Later on, she shifted her focus towards the more creative aspect and decided to become a professional web designer. As a designer, she managed to create beautiful products which made her customers happy. She liked the computer and it consumed more and more of her time. Her love for nature was somehow thrown to a very remote place in the background. Roeselien has always been balancing between psychology and art, having a major enthrallment for the both of them. However, she never felt the satisfaction she needed in life and made a decision to choose a path that would make her feel satisfied. Roeselien decided to choose a career path in which nature would play a more important role, and a career that would give the satisfaction she needed in life. Her best choice was to go for Nature photography and writing and that’s what she embarked on. Today, framed Roeselien Raimond art adorn the walls of many buildings in Netherlands and beyond. For her, photography and writing are about communication, creation and expression, and that’s why she likes them.
