Will Rafuse Art

Will Rafuse is a famous artist best known for his bold use of color. He creates his art using oil paints, with his creative pieces appealing mainly to the youthful or young at heart audience. This is because of the animated twist that can be seen in his every piece. Rafuse gives personality and vibrancy to every artwork he creates. He’s created numerous artwork pieces that can be found in galleries and both private and public collections and can be found worldwide. Rafuse's passion for art was evident from an early age. He attended the Capilano College in North Vancouver where he earned his diploma in Graphic Arts and Illustration. He then proceeded to Vancouver Community College from where he earned another diploma, this time in Computer Graphics and Multimedia. Rafuse worked at Stanley Park until the year 2000 and was soon after chosen to design the banners that adorned Robson Street from May to October 1996. His talent and exemplary artistic skills saw him penetrate the open edition market the following year when he forged a partnership with the Canadian Art Posters. With every milestone, Rafuse has quickly gained recognition globally, making him one of CAP's top selling artists. Other than that Rafuse's artwork has been licensed for a variety of products such as dishware, decorative clocks, and coasters among others. He was born in 1955 in Calgary, Alberta. Initially living in Prairies for years, he later moved to Vancouver where he studied. His signature style has been featured in movies and television shows.
