Connie Publicover is a self-taught photographer from Nova Scotia, specializing in vividly colored water drop imagery. Her remarkable water drop photographs rely on fast shutter speeds to reveal a hidden and magical world. “I love capturing a moment in time that is so pure and present but usually never seen with the naked eye,” Publicover explains. “The beauty of these small worlds are amazing to me, ever changing and always a challenge to capture.” Photography is a second career for Publicover. She found her passion for the camera after retiring from hairdressing. Her work has won much acclaim in online communities and has exhibited in galleries throughout Atlantic Canada.
