Kimberly Poloson is a self-taught American artist who was born in Northern Michigan. She has been passionate about art for many years. Her artistic creativity became evident when she was undergoing her college studies, getting many people fascinated with his artwork. While several artists tend to create art from the complexities of life, Kimberly strives to always create her pieces from the simple things of life. Her imagination is often triggered by a number of things she hears or sees such as singing birds, sound of music, colors of different weathers among several others. Besides these things, Kimberly is also motivated by musicians, poets, artisans, and writers. Her artistic works are characterized by funky objects, antiques, and old charm. She has a unique way of blending different elements from the past and the present to create signature works that are definitive of her subjects. Kimberly easily picks black and white images and adds her personal touch to them to come up with creative pieces. She delivers her works in odd textures and juxtapositions, all with the focus on reaching out to her audience the best way possible. Having lived in diverse locations within the U.S., including California and Hawaii, she has received inspiration from diverse quarters. She’s currently living with her pilot husband and her teenage daughter in Pacific Northwest. It’s in the same location that she owns a spacious studio from where she creates her artistic works.
