Matt Patterson’s art has found its way into many top galleries and museums around the world. They are produced in a variety of finishing options to increase their collectability. Patterson was born and grew up in New Ipswich, NH. He loved art from a tender age and knew that he would be an artist. His father was a biology teacher and early on he got an exposure to all types of animals. And for as long as he can remember, he has always had the same two interests, animals (wildlife) and art. He has managed to receive positive criticism from professional art critics and has managed to attract a large fan base spread all over the globe. Patterson loved the outdoors and in his free time, as a young boy he could always be found either out searching for snakes and turtles, fishing, or he was painting. Things haven’t changed even today. He’s a professional artist and his work reflects his love for nature. He’s participated in many art exhibitions where his art has become the center of attraction. He has a book that was recently released on Amphibians and Reptiles titled “The Snake and the Salamander Reptiles and Amphibians from Maine to Virginia.” The artist has completed quite a number of works ranging from book and scientific illustration to wood carving and trompe l’oeil murals. Framed Patterson art are particularly known for their durability. They come in different frame colors and are ready to hang. In 2010, his book titled “Freshwater Fish of the Northeast” won Artistic Merit category and the National Outdoor Book Awards Design.
