Kelly Parr Art

Kelly Parr is an artist based in New York City. She is the artist to employ for projects that requires great creative and critical thinking, combined with a strong sense of design with the ability to use any medium or platform. She has received several honors and awards. Kelly holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Yale. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from the University of California, Davis. Kelly also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venezia. She devotes all her time to painting, concentrating mostly on beautiful flowers, birds and natural objects using images and bright colors that instill an uplifting revitalization theme. Residencies include The Millay Colony for the Arts (Austerlitz, New York), Sambans Íslanskra Myndlistarmanna (SIM) Reykjavík, The Experimental TV Center (Owego, New York), Socrates Sculpture Park (Long Island City, New York), and Yale School of Art and Music (Norfolk, CT). Kelly combines a unique sense of personal intimacy with her brush strokes leaving the viewer inspired. Her work has been brought into countless businesses, homes, and exhibited all over the world. In the course of her work, she has produced many pieces of framed Kelly Parr art which today adorn the walls of many homes. Her art has also found its way into many galleries, museums and institutions. Kelly is one of the best artists in New York City and her art is usually highly priced by many collectors. She’s very careful when it come to the choice of subject matter as she wants to increase the collectability of her art.
