Miguel Paredes (Born in 1966) was born in New York. He simultaneously showcases his works at international, national and local shows to expand his inspirational environment. He continues to make his mark by expanding further his inspirational environment but taking part in many activities in the arts industry. In an effort to continue his dedication to charitable public art and commitment to the community works, he was joined by Mayor Lerner Cindy to unveil 2 detached charitable art projects in 2011: a permanent, expansive, 24-foot tile mosaic. He grew up in the Upper West Side of Manhattan on 72nd Street and his art is much influenced by the street life. Today, he’s an urban realist and artist who combines the exciting sense of New York graffiti art with the perceptiveness and skill of a truly exceptional artist. Paredes decided to leave New York and went to Miami Beach where he took a studio at the Art Center of South Florida. Here, he became one of the most prosperous artists and focused on conceptual art and mixed media. At one of his first shows, Paredes was able to sell every piece in the exhibit and this made him to break solidly into the Miami Beach art scene. Paredes’ artistic success caught the attention of many local venues and they often offered him their space to showcase his work. In the long run, he opened his own gallery in 2010. The gallery was in the Wynwood Arts District and he named it Miguel Paredes Fine Art Gallery. In that same year, he created an 18 by 26 foot mural titled in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District. Ready to hang Miguel Paredes art are found in many art stores today.
