Fernando Palma Art

Fernando Palma (Born in 1948) was born near São Paulo, Brazil. Palma decided to move to Belo Horizonte in 1969 where he studied at a medical school and majored in plastic surgery. He’s open to learning and is always looking for new styles and techniques that can help him serve his clients better. His art stands out among those of other artists because of their uniqueness. His painting evolved from his desire to represent the beauties of natural and man-made objects so that his viewers can also taste and enjoy the beauty of these things that surround us. He keeps two studios, one on “Fazenda dos Dourados” farm, and the other in Belo Horizonte. His paintings are permanently on show in both studios. Today, his work is proudly displayed in many private and public collections throughout the United States and Brazil. The framed Fernando art is available in many art stores across the globe. They are highly priced because they are durable and can be used for decorative purposes for a lifetime. Palma explores the relationships that exist or are created between the object and image by incorporating multiple mediums within a single piece of art. After his graduation from the medical school, he joined New York University to further his studies and completed his post-graduate degree in 1975. In the past few years, the artist has been working on three distinct series: “The Beauty of Gesture”, “Passion and Fantasy” and “Silent Lives.” “Fazenda dos Dourados” farm is an estate he owns in Minas Gerais.
