Nate Owens works on the computer using software such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Painter. For 3D modeling he uses Sculptris, Hexagon, Carrara, Rhino, ZBrush, others, and for web sites work Owens uses Vegas Studio, Camtasia, Sound Forge, Acid XMC, Flash (interactive graphics, animations), and DreamWeaver. Owens has dome illustration and paintings since 1970. His work has involved 3D modeling and rendering, illustrative and technical, Illustration in a variety of styles, both humorous and serious, and Digital Sculpting (Presentations, Figurines, Models and Trophies). Today, he has a wide client base including Western Horseman Magazine, Leanin' Tree, National Barrel Horse Association, GRIT, Zondervan Publishing, McGraw Hill, Harvest House, Focus on the Family, SubAir, ANtimes, Gannett and Morris Communications, Visual Events, Presbyterian Publishing, Western Graphics, Ministries Today Magazine, to name but a few. Apart from digital work, Owens also works in traditional mediums such as acrylics, watercolors, oils, etc. His work has been on ads, bus benches, TV spots, magazine illustrations, shirts, coffee mugs, wall decor prints and greeting cards. His work is also availed as framed Nate Owens art. He has also done Book and Newspaper, Magazine and Book Cover illustration. Owens has published Greeting Cards and Gift Products nationally, and has done Flash Banners, Logos, Brochure, Ad Catalog and design. Once he worked as an art director where his duty included the designing of catalogs, ads, brochures and annual reports, some are in Newsweek, Time, The Saturday Evening Post and USA Today. In the course of his work, he interacted with a staff of photographers and artists.
