Susan Oller Art

Susan Oller love art from a tender age. She has been doing art as long as she can remember. As a child, she could spend much of her free time drawing, sketching and painting on any surface that could be available. Her art was influenced by the central Florida environment in which she grew up. Since 2008 she has bee residing with her husband in Virginia. Her art emphasizes special moments in time that she experiences while painting on site, especially design, color, atmosphere and lighting. Susan has been showing her works professionally for close to 40 years in many major outdoor galleries and art shows. She is an enthusiastic plein air painter. She renders her subjects in a manner that makes then look realistic. This has been enhanced by her keenness to detail and her use of color. She knows how to choose subjects that make her art to easily attract viewers. She has the true eyes of an artist that are able to pick the little details that many people often overlook. Her painterly style has been sharpened through studies with distinguished plein air artists and workshops. Susan hopes that some of the feelings of joy and peace she feels while painting our splendid creation, come through to the viewer. Her influences have been a mix of early American impressionism and landscape artists. Today, framed Susan Oller art can be seen gracing the walls of many prestigious galleries, homes and institutions around the globe. They can also be found in many collections, both corporate and private.
