Nozeman (Born 1721) was born in Amsterdam. He was the son of Jacobus Nozeman, the composer. His father instilled in him an appreciation for beauty and a keen sense of wonder. Nozeman was a visual artist who was known for producing high quality prints that can be used to decorate any space. His choice of subject matter ensures that his art appeals to all people from all walks of life. Nozeman believed that it is art that could bring people together as it was able to communicate to them better than any other medium. Nozeman was also was a clergyman and an apothecary. He was trained as a preacher and he served from 1744 to 1749 in Alkmaar where he was called. This made him to have a wide network of clients and friends. He practiced as an artist for several years and has managed to attract a huge following of clients all over the world. He continued an interest in ornithology which was a native Dutch tradition of production. He used this in his first creation of the detailed description of the birds of Holland. Her clients were always on the lookout for his new prints. His art, even today, is in several collections and galleries, both corporate and private. The framed Nozeman art are easy to recognize and are highly priced by many collectors. Several works by this artist have been sold at auction. There are some works that he never completed and were later completed by Houttuyn Martinus. His work continue to attract new clients, more so the bird lovers.
