Mary Naylor Art

Mary Naylor is a professional Graphic Artist based in Manchester. She loved art from a young age and her desire to draw initially stemmed from her obsession with horses. She recalls that her family couldn’t afford a horse so she used to continuously draw them, but she says “there are only so many horses someone can draw.” She was later to attend Mancat College where she studied Fine Art. She later attended Liverpool John Moores University to further her studies. As years went by, she discovered how to produce images in a highly creative manner while staying true to the feelings of those crucial moments in time. Her clever but kitschy illustrations make her one of the most fascinating and novel emerging artists in the art scene of Manchester. Her art has appeared in many solo and group exhibitions throughout Manchester. Framed Mary Naylor art are currently being sold in several art stores, galleries, and through private sales around the world. Today, her art are much sought after by many discerning collectors. After studying Fine Art at Mancat College, her interests began to shy away from equestrian doodles and she found herself drawn to Graphic Design, and fell in love with the works of Egon Schiele. Her work makes people to think as it plays with their perception of well-known art. With an ever expanding portfolio, Mary is now spreading her wings into the likes of visual installations and animation, having gained experience assisting at big events such as the Warehouse Project and Parklife festival. She loves colors and uses them to effectively bring her subjects to life.
