Greg Murphy has been perfecting his artistic skills in oil painting for more than a decade. He loved art from a young age and was lucky to be surrounded by many art-loving friends who encouraged his to pursue art as a career. Today, he is a professional artist whose works are much sought after throughout the world. Murphy is always on the lookout for new techniques and styles. The use of color is very personal for him, and he says painting with lots of color brings him satisfaction and joy. His passion for art has grown over the years and this passion has led him to a brilliant creative career. The majority of his work depicts the landscapes and the wildlife of Northwoods. Recently he started painting African wildlife and scenes, and also exploring other subject matter. He embraces both traditional and modern techniques and flirts with experimentation as well.
