As an inquisitive young girl, Marcia Matcham used to do a lot of artwork and to study the works of art by other artists. Even today, she’s quite open to learning and will always be found associating with her fellow artists. Marcia was born and raised in Newton, Kansas but she moved to Texas in the mid-60s with her husband and children. Currently, she works from her home art studio on a small lake west of Ft. Worth. Many pieces of her art are available in public places. Her studio is located in an ideal setting for her often simple rural subject matter. She has been honored for her achievements and the tight deadlines and the wide variety of subjects has forced her to hone her skills and she has become a very proficient artist. Today, she’s a renowned award-winning watercolor artist who has been in the painting business for almost 50 years, and she’s not planning to stop any time soon. The framed Marcia Matcham art are sold in many art stores around the world. Marcia’s art are also available in many online stores.
