Elo Marc Art

Elo Marc is an Illustrator, a graphic designer and a fashion designer based in San Diego, California. He likes to call himself a creative person with an edge but no limits. Marc loves design, typography, textures and colors. He is always on the move exploring new horizons and trying new things. The collage world has always been part of His life. When Marc was a kid, school books where very boring to him and he used to draw on top of the illustrations to make them more interesting. He would also create conversations between characters to make them more live and funny. He went through school and graduated from City College in 2009 with an AA Degree in Graphic Design. While at college, he explored the diverse and rich array of mixed media and developed an appreciation for collage. Later on, his creative interests began to turn to fine art and he was particularly interested in mixed media collage. While he was working on sites such as outfitters website and society6 as a Graphic Designer, his interest in collage increased and by 2009 it became the main focus of his work. Come 2010, Marc made a decision to pursue art making full-time. The mediums he uses include illustrations, retro images and vectors, colors. The works are multi-layered and highly textured with weathered and nostalgic quality. He also uses digital collage working methods with a very realistic and gritty display of layering and texture. Marc also deals with brand identity, freelance packaging, and design and art commissions for various clients including institutes, galleries, websites and the boutique fashion industry. Framed Elo Marc art are held in many private and public collections worldwide.
