Thomas Linker Art

Artist Thomas Linker (Born in 1936) is a native to eastern Pennsylvania. Careful observation of his work reveals his close attention to perspective and proportion. His attention to detail is a reflection of a successful career as a project designer in the mechanical engineering field. However, his first love has always been art. Early in his career, Linker was trained on the job as a commercial artist. He’s a self-taught artist with some formal training at the Fleisher Memorial School in Philadelphia. The artist continued to refine his art and practice during his time at the school and excelled as a part-time freelance illustrator for several years. A romantic sentiment tempers his realism producing a style of art which is peculiar and particular suited to scenes of rustic houses, sunsets, beaches and rolling hills. He has won many awards and his work is now in many prestigious collections. He’s widely recognized in Pennsylvania and many of his works are images from the counties of Montgomery and Bucks. Framed Thomas Linker art adorn the walls of many prestigious buildings in Pennsylvania and abroad. Linker is very comfortable creating a graphic or painting a still life in his studio when he’s not observing the great outdoors for new material to paint. His style of art is particularly suited to scenes of rustic houses, sunsets, stunning beachscapes and rolling landscapes. His art is exceptionally versatile. Linker can paint with a colorful impressionistic free flowing pallet knife rendering, or if he desires, a wonderful sense of realism. An occasional pastel painting may suit his fancy too.
