Jason Limon Art

Jason Limon (Born in 1973) was born in San Antonio, Texas. He first showed his passion for artistic expression at a young age sketching and doodling scenarios and characters inspired by his busy surroundings and neighborhood. Limon studied graphic design and fine arts at the Visual Arts & Technology Center at San Antonio College. In 1995 he entered the field of commercial graphic design and acquired comprehensive knowledge of composition, color and type. Following 12 years of dedication to producing award-winning designs and logos he then turned his concentration and focus to where his heart truly belonged - developing art using brush and hand, no longer by the clicks of a mouse. He currently resides with his wife and two daughters in San Antonio, Texas where he’s creating commercial illustrations and gallery work, some of which can be seen in Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, Communication Arts, Print Regional Design and Graphis and American Illustration. In 2007, he moved from his 12-year career in graphic design to illustrating and painting full-time. He has had one man shows in Albuquerque, NYC and Chicago. He has also had quite a number of group exhibits in parts of Europe and across the United States. Limon had has shows in beinArt Gallery, Melbourne AUS, Carbon Sally Centigrade Art Gallery, Waldwick NJ, Left Hand Black Gallery, San Diego CA, Rotofugi, Chicago, IL, Denver CO, BoldHype, NY, SubUrban Vinyl, Radar Station, Wenatchee WA, Inner State Gallery, Detroit MI, and Stranger Factory, Albuquerque, NM, among others. These have made the framed Jason Limon art to be very popular.
