Jota Leal is an artist who paints all the time. Actually, he blames this obsession on his parents. He says they made him believe it was something he was good at. He’s not stopped painting since he managed to produce the first image. In 2001, he traveled to Spain and resided there, plunging himself in the technique and history of art. Later on, he returned to Venezuela, his hometown, where, in 2003, he received the Caricaturist of the Year Award.
