Peter Kuttner Art

Peter Kuttner is a contemporary artist who was born near Boston, MA. He studied at the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He began his career as an art director and a writer for a motion picture company, and later worked with the National Museum of American Illustration as the head of the graphics department. He now finds personal expression in his artwork through his love of texture and his use of provocative color. He uses a combination of paint and collage keeping his work clean, and striving to use a style that matches each piece with a controlled organic quality. This style carries an effortless sophistication, marrying a mastery of intricacy with minimalism into his abstract and representational compositions of mixed media.
