Alison Jerry applies several techniques to her art works. She does some digitally for special effects like layering her hand made oil pastel backgrounds into her work, which she scans in and then thoroughly applies to the painting. This gives the original art an interesting and unique blend of textures and color which can only be achieved by using Photoshop. Her work can be described as mixed media because she uses a variety of mediums like watercolor, oils, photography, Photoshop and pastels.
