J Hovenstine Studios was founded by John Hovenstine. It is through this establishment that he produces and supplies his art. In everything that Hovenstine does, he puts God first and he has spent his adult life to use his God given skills as much as possible. In fact 10 percent of all his sales go towards a mission that further glorifies God. He has always believed that God gives all people gifts to use to bring glory to him not us. Hovenstine loved art since his childhood and he liked to surround himself with art materials and books. He knew he would become and artist and was lucky that his talent was discovered early enough and he received support from those who were close to him. Today he’s one of the best photographers in the world and his images can be found in almost all corners of the world. He has won some awards for his photography and art, has been the creative director at an award winning catalog, and has framed J Hovenstine Studios art hanging on the walls of many buildings across the country. What he considers as his top achievement in life is his family and he gives God all the credit for the three beautiful daughters, a great wife, two son-in-laws he considers the sons he never had; and seven beautiful grandchildren. His arty can be found in many collections and in galleries, museums, homes and institutions. Growing in a God-fearing family instilled in him a sense of humility and discipline that has helped him to relate well with his clients.
