Lisa Hilliker learned to appreciate the abundant wildlife and natural beauty that New England state has to offer. She has grown up and lived in rural Vermont for most of her life. She works primarily in acrylics, and finishes with and antiquing process and finally applies a protective coat of varnish. She keeps everything simple and is always with her favorite cat, her muse by her side as she paints. All of her animals have proved good models over the years. Lisa is always on the lookout for different methods of creating and presenting images so that the final products are truly unique.
