Jan Griggs Art

Jan Griggs likes bold strong colors that he says create an anxiety when they intersect, speed and movement in brush strokes, and light moving all the way through the painting. He’s a member of Desert Mountain Arts League in Scottsdale and Sonoran Arts League in Scottsdale AZ. He has exhibited at C.A.R.E. Holiday Benefit Scottsdale, AZ and at Arizona Fine Art Expo in 2014 and 2015respectively. He was also the featured Artist at the one-man Show held at FineMark Bank and Trust in Scottsdale, AZ. Painting is his passion and his artwork is a collection of places, feelings of dark, light and color, stillness and movement that he translates into abstracts that are non-representational. He’s much sought after, more so for projects that requires keenness to detail, and also for the ready to hang framed Jan Griggs art which come with all the required accessories. He believes that art provides him with an opportunity to connect with his clients and his instinct. He really enjoys trying his hand at different styles and techniques, but he’s always very happy working in styles and techniques that his clients can easily associate with. Humor plays a pivotal role when he’s working on his pieces. He says each of his work is intuitive allowing the patron (viewer) to engage their imagination in reacting to and interpreting what they see. As he’s quite experienced, Griggs tends to work very quickly ensuring that the piece is delivered within the stipulated time. He’s very confident and has a friendly attitude when dealing with people.
